Since no model number was given, check to see if you have a setting commonly noted as "wrinkle guard", "wrinkle shield", "press care" or something to that affect. Those settings will run the dryer for as much as 90 min after a completed drying cycle to prevent wrinkles in clothing, allowing you time to remove the cloths after a dry cycle if you are busy. Hello. Generally, when clothes take a long time to dry the problem is excessive lint in the exhaust pipe. pull the dryer out from the wall, disconnect the vent pipe and remove lint going to the outdoors and also back inside of the dryer. Regards, joe

Takes over 90 minutes to dry clothes and we use the same type washer atlantis. What is the problem or is it just to old bought in 2003.

Do a complete inspection of the exhaust system. I believe you have a clogged vent hose - dont forget the outside vent.

Dryer takes longer and longer to dry

The dryer vent may be partially blocked. First of all check the outdoor end of the vent to make sure it is not covered with something, in the north snow is often the culprit. If that end is clear, pull out the dryer and disconnect the vent pipe from the dryer then check inside with a flashlight to make sure it is clear. Remove any built up lint. that should do it.
