Question about HP OfficeJet 6110 All-In-One InkJet Printer

HP 6110 all in one remove and check cartridge , keeps displaying this after replacing with new cartidge and still the same message

    yes I tried that with holdong the power button and letting go after plugging it back up, I am going to open it to see if it mechanical or something. Thanks though.

    Same issue here..called HP but it was out of the warranty, no solution at all :(

My hp officejet is displaying a message "remove


Hi,

Your printer is in Error mode.. Specially with black ink empty message. HP Printer is designed in such manner that it will not allow you do to anything if it gives cartridge error message on printer screen.

you will have to replace the cartridge and align the printer to get it working.

Error message: remove and check cartidge. I did this and even cleaned connector points. im only trying to use the scanner, but this is the first message that appears and I cant do anything.


removed cartridges, pulled plug out of wall, cleaned cartridges, and back of cartridge chute,
no help, plug in and same message, check cartridge,!,, there is a wire at back that could be stopping insert proper, but doesn't look like it, must be electrical or need new printer

My hp 6110 has a flashing exclamation mark and says "Remove and check cartridge". I have removed and replaced both cartridges several times but the light stays on and the message still appears. HELP!


Hi

remove cartridges
get a peper towel
and clean metal contacts of cartridges
and the metal contact of cartridge carrier
if the error insist
you need to replace with new ones

Keep getting Remove and Check Cartridge message even when I replace the black cartridge with a new HP one. How can this be fixed?


I believe you have to press the "select" button or the "options" button. Both are located right under the LCD display

One of the cartidges you have purchased is faulty.
you can reinstall the empties one at a time as a process of elimination to determine which new cartridge is the problem

Probably one of two causes:

1)Cartidge is Faulty/Out of Date/Not original.

2)Printer is Faulty.

Most HP cartridges have a specific life, no matter if you use it or not. You should check the cartridge life - its printed on the cartridge itself. If its in date and broken you can get a free replacement from HP. Try a new cartridge first.

If you are still getting an error message after changing the cartridge and your printer is no longer in warranty, its normally cheaper to throw it away than get it fixed. If its in warranty, call HP. They normally replace very quickly.

PSC 2115 error message


turn off your machine unplug the power for about 5 mins. disconnect the usb cable from back. Plug back in power, wait until machine fully boots up. Check your cartidges to make sure there in there good and are not lose. Remove them and just put them back in making sure there secure. Then try to aline the cartidges.
