You can take the keyboard apart and try to clean it.  But if you have not done this before, take it to someone, a friend or something, that has.  You could end up with a bigger mess than you started.  If the keyboard is old, replace it.  You can get one off ebay for under 15 bucks.

Then you will have to take it in to have it fixed.  There isn't much a home user can do to take them apart and fix them.  If it is still under warranty, contact the manufacturer.  I guess a home user could do it, but unless you have experience, you can easily break the key and render it completely useless.

When I type a letter it sticks and keep typing the same letter.

Keyboards sit out exposed to all kinds of debris. Dust, ashes and so on can settle into the area around the keys and cause problems. Turning the keyboard upside down and patting it on the backside might help. You'll be amazed at what comes out. A can of compressed air might also do the trick but again, upside down.
Keyboards are cheap and they really aren't worth fixing. But if it becomes too frustrating, and it's not a wireless keyboard, you might try putting it in the dishwasher upside down. This is a last resort when you've given up and are ready to buy a new keyboard. And I'd only do this if someone spilled something on it.
If it doesn't work now, this won't make it work any less. Well, actually, it could. LOL
Good luck.

On my laptop alphabet keys uiojkl and m have numbers on them i dont know what i pressed but whenever i use the keyboard now it will only type the numerals that are on those keys instead of the letters...

please check for a the ( Fn) key which is found next to the left side ctrl marked by a blue colour. cleck to see if this is jammed as only by holding the fn key down will the alphabets change to numerical. If the fault is persisting again open your keyboards settings and check for default settings. Also try to reinstall the drivers or else restore you computer to an earlier good restore point by clicking on control panel, select back up /restore. I hope this clears your fault. Good day.

You may have activated a shortcut key on your keyboard such as the Fn (function) key. It looks like this

Fn and usually situated on the bottom left hand side of your keyboard near the left hand cntrl button.

Some function keys when pressed once remain on. Once they are on they can cause different symbols to appear in place of the normal keyboard ones. If you press your Fn key again and then try typing on the keyboard once again it may help fix your problem.

I hope this helps
Cheers
