Water damage

It will work but you will eventually seriously damage the engine. Water in the oil will cause it to emulsify preventing it working properly as a lubricant. The water turned to steam will damage steel by causing rust (Oxidisation).

If you have a water cooled motorcycle and you have water in the oil is it an indication of a serious problem.

For instance, if the cylinder head is leaking water into the cylinder because of a faulty head gasket or warped head. The cylinder will fill with water. As water is non compressible it will cause the piston to bend or break the con rod causing significant engine damage.

If it fails at high speed on a bike it could be fatal to have the engine seize.

Usually when touch screen doesn't work, it's a sign of water damage. It's also possible that you dropped it at some point and ruined the sensors inside. But it's PROBABLY water damage. What you can do is bring it to your phone carrier's closest store and ask them to check if your phone suffered water damage. They'll open the phone up and look. If it is water damage, you'll probably have to pay for a new one...If you're insured, it probably won't be that expensive.

The good news is, if you bring it there and it ISN'T water damage, you probably won't have to pay anything at all for them to replace it. Hope this helps!

Most likely not, because the water damage has already damaged the circuits and the other components of the DS, and if there is any water inside the DS, the rice can't get inside of it like the water, and won't absorb it.

The most basic way to check for water damage is to open the back cover and take the battery out. Either on the battery itself or on the phone under the battery there should be a white square or circle. This is called the LDI (liquid damage indicator), if this is still white then there is no water damage. But if this is red or pink there is water damage.

Get a new one cause the water will rot and mold inside the base plate.  Have your homeowners insurance cover the cost.

First never turn on any phone after be drop in water ! it's cause a electric shortcut and damage the phone.

I recommand to find a expert because the operation is manually and requeste a to be expert.

But if you can:

1. open the phone
2. clean it with a solution that can asperat and vaporate the water
3. use some warm air to blow it over the chip like dryer

open the battery door and remove the battery. under neath there are 2 white stickers. IF they are red then they have been exposed to water

I tried everything to get my iphone to work after a small incident with a toilet bowl. I used rice, silica packs, blow dryer, towels in the sun, etc. My brother-in-law told me about the ifixyouri website he used for his broken screen. Turn your phone off for at least a day. Dry off your phone if you haven't already. Take out the battery, dry out the inside of the phone. If you have a sim card, take that out and leave to dry. Leave the battery out of the phone for a day as well. Put it back together after a day and try to power it on. If it doesn't come on, try plugging it in without the battery in. If it works that way, you simply need a new battery.

If this doesn't work you're probably going to have to get a new phone. Your cell phone provider will be able to tell if it's water damaged, so check with them to see if they replace water damaged phones.
