Question about Sony XM-2150GSX Car Audio Amplifier
Use a bigger ground wire for amp and protect mode will stop clipping and shutting amp off also make sure power wire and ground wires aren't the same size ground bigger .............if this doesn't help change settings on amp to lower power
easiest way to set amp is (turn the knobs on amp all down turn up your system to the level you listen to normally and then set the amp knobs for bass turn knob slow to set properly but i think the ground needs to be bigger and maybe moved to a new location

Sony amps are cheap and get hot quickly. that amp doesnt really put out that many watts without either damaging the speaker or itself.
