Question about Desa International White Wireless Plug In Door Chime

I have two door chimes with the same frequemcy, but different codes. I need to place the chimes in different rooms as I am hard of hearing. How do I match both codes so that they ring at the same time when the bell-push is activated?

You need to change the pin configuration in both the remote buttons to match each other, (as well as the bell unit) just make sure they match on both bell units. Also, since one works just use that configuration and change the button pin configuration that does not work to the button that does on the other button unit.

What is the difference between A23 and A23S 12v batteries?

batteries come in different configuration as to where the positive and negative poles are placed on a battery
the difference between a23 and a23 s could be which sides of the battery top the terminals are configured
it will not matter if you are just using it for power for door chimes

When I drive my 07 Chevy Equinox I hear the door chime sound. I even hear it when I remove the key from the ignition. Do you know why?

The place to start for this is at the door switch itself. You will notice a small button or lever on the inside of the door. Either on the hinged side of the door or the closing side of the door. While it is chiming, open one door, and try manually pressing that switch. Move it around and press it harder to see if you can get it to stop. If you can then you have found your problem and replace that contact closure. The other issue is sometimes in the ignition tumbler itself. If that is the case then the tumbler needs to be replaced. That one is a bit trickier to get to but doable.

Setting the codes for the door chime

Presuming that you are asking how to set codes for the Desa International door chime, here's a solution:

There are two components of the Desa door chime --- the ringer assembly and the door button. Inside each component is a set of eight pairs of pins and several square-ish plastic jumpers. To set a code, you must push jumpers onto the pair of pins for each of three different numbers. (You may find that you have more than three jumpers. If so, the others are spares which you can tell because they will only be covering one of the two pins in a pair.) Whatever three numbers you choose, the ringer and button must match exactly. 5-6-7 seems to be the default set-up as delivered from the factory. This is only a problem if anyone else in the neighborhood also has a Desa chime with this setting. If you use pin 8, the ring changes from a two-tone chime to a 16-note sequence.

Good luck!

Reading on door OF

Teresa, The fridge is in a retailers demo mode and here is what you do to reset it to normal operation:
Left Door: Simultaneously press and hold the top two buttons on the left side of the display panel until you hear a distinctively different chime sound when the display changes. This will either be a combination of "Energy Saver" and "Freezer", or "Energy Saver" and "Power Freeze/Freezer."
  • At the top of the door frame: Simultaneously press and hold the "Power Freeze" and "Freezer" buttons until you hear a distinctively different chime sound and the temperatures for the fridge and freezer are both displayed.
  • Note: If the temperature is displayed, but then "OF OF" reappears a few seconds later, Cooling Off mode was not disabled. Repeat the actions above, and be sure to press and hold the buttons at the exact same time until the distinctive chime sound is heard and both temperatures are displayed.

Open door chimes and keys left in in car chimes plus left on chimes not working question what operates chimes door lock ?

Door left open chime is operated by your interior light switch. It is located in a few places on different vehicles. Often in the door jam at the front or low down on the pillar at the rear of the door. You will notice a little black rubber boot and when you push it it goes in and out. That is your interior light switch.
