Look at your memory card. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.

SOURCE: card locked

Take the SD card out and unlock the card by moving a small slide on the side of the SD card, sometimes you can accidentially lock it when re-inserting the card.

Most SD Memory cards have a little switch on the side to lock them, try switching that to the other position.

SOURCE: my samsung camera wont let me take pics or videos

When this problem occur you need to set the memory card unlock or not protected. Remove the memory card from camera and you can see a small button in the memory card, so you need to slide that to set the memory card unlock or not protected.

Pics will not save to empty sd card

First, make sure card is empty. Erase and format it if it's not. Try another card to see if it takes the pics.

Hi Just trying to set up the Xbox360. Under netwok connect it is asking for "service name", what is this? I know who my service provider is, but don't know what it's asking for...

Hello Bren,
You can leave it blank, no problem!
Additional info, comes from Microsoft: "Some ISPs do not require that you enter a PPPoE server name on the PPPoE Settings screen. Contact your ISP to verify whether they require that you enter a PPPoE server name. If your ISP does not require that you enter a PPPoE server name, leave the Service Name box on the PPPoE Settings screen blank."

I only have 7 pictures on here. I've tried taking the memory card out but still get the message that the memory is full. Don't know what else to do. Help

Check whether the sd card has the 'lock' switched on. Its a physical slide button on the side of the sd card which may sometimes cause this error. Thumb me up if I helped. :)

Hi, I own the Canon PowershotA540, recently I discoverd that once I put the SD card in my computer to download the pictures it downloads them, but once I put the card back into my camera all the pictures...

This sounds like the program you are using to download the pics is set to erase them from the card when the download is complete. You need to dig into the program and adjust the settings. That's as much as I can tell you since I don't know what program you're using. Your camera is fine.

Just got new easyshare, cannot review pics and pics will not copy

All cameras need a memory card of some description. A 1GB SD card would be more than big enough from any photographic shop. Make sure that the lock switch on the side of the SD card is not set.
