Question about LG WM-2032H Front Load Washer

Bad vibrations/shaking with LG washing machine WM2032HW

The front loader washing machine is level -- but shakes & vibrates violently while on the spin cycle. We have made minor adjustments to the feet & it is definately evel. The machine is about 4-5 years old and used to be much quieter when it ran. Could it be the shocks/struts? Which part(s) needs replaced? Maybe the damper assembly #1267433? Thanks!

What's the exact model of your washing machine? I'll need this to get you exact part numbers.
If you're looking for a quick and cheap fix that works. Try installing a rubber anti-vibration pad under the washer. I've had the best luck with a pad called Silent Feet. They are pretty hard to find in stores but Amazon.com carries the full line of Silent Feet anti-vibration pads. They will provide you with the best results short of replacing the full shock isolation assembly in the washer. And they cost a lot less.

try putting a lighter load in the washer,or you put some foam or something like that at each side of the machine to stop it hitting against the other things next to it.also try adjusting the feet at the bottom of the machine to level it out.

LG front loaded washing machine vibrates during

If its on a pedistal then that will raise your center of gravity and cause the unit to be less sturdy during a spin. It could also be due to a weak floor. You may want to try a product called "shake away pads". The probably sell them at like home depot or lowes. They will run you about 40 bucks but they just go under the legs and help absorb some shock. Good luck _MJ_

Because front load washers are VERY HEAVY, they shake if you have a wooden floor. If your front loader sits on concrete and it still shakes, then you have to make sure all is balanced. If it still shakes, then inside the system there are shock absorbers that need to be checked.

Should we buy a front load washing machine if we live in a mobile home? We heard that when it spins it will shake our trailer to pieces. Is this true?

If your trailer is frail enough to fall to be in danger of falling to pieces with the vibrations of a front loader--which are steady but not violent--you'd likely be better off to pick up a used top loader from Craigslist for $50 and put the money you save into structural repairs or a security deposit on a solid dwelling.

I have a LG WM2032HW Front Load washer that shakes like crazy! It is level, shipping bolts are removed and it does not matter if the washer is empty, just a small amount of clothes or full!

your problem may be in the shocks or because this machine is very powerfull and spins very fast that the floor is giving (has play) and needs to be supported up from underneath it if u put the machine on a cement floor lock the legs securly to the machine if it spins fine then your floor is the problem
if it still shakes then i would replace the shocks
(sol v ya prob)

has one of the shocks come loose or broken. Open the back of the machine (power-off of course) and on either side of the drum there is a shock absorber. A visual check should tell you if there is a problem.

Shook Violently first time on spin cycle

Make sure the washer is leveled properly and all four feet are resting on the floor. If it is level, try running one cysle without any clothes in it to see it is spins without that violent shaking.. you may have also had an out of balance load.. Hope that helps!

Front loader vibrates and moves

You shd check the front legs - they shd be a maximum screwed up, that is the machine shd be tilting forwards. Then you adjust acccording to your floor level. The machine should not shake a bit when off, & you try to shake it with both your hands.

A little vibration is normal when the spin starts. Don't forget to rate me nice............

Lg washing machine pedistals

You will have to have the washer lifted to screw the leg back into the bottom. As far as the shaking...try some vibration isolation pads. www.keshakeaway.com the best $30 i have ever spent.I have a front loader on a pedestal also..it vibrated the pictures of the wall in the next room. with the pads I hardly know its running.( and the drawer stays shut)
