Under Menu ==> Settings ==> Profiles ==> Select Options and then Customize once there you can scroll down and change settings. I have discovered that when you turn the volume down on the ringtone it does not turn down the volume on the key tones or text message alerts.

How can I change the keypad volume of Samsung SHS 3120 digital lock . TQ

Hello,

To change the volume of your keypad is quite simple. You will have to go to the menu of the phone, then select the settings, go to tone settings and check the keypad tone, you can reduce it by pressing the own button by the side of the phone or from the navigational key, then save the new tone volume, then the keypad reduces.

Hope this was helpful to you.

MY POWER MAX 5.8 SAYS THAT MY VOLUME IS OFF ON ONE HAND SET--HOW DO I TURN IT ON? THANKS EILEEN CARTER beileenc@bellsouth.net

There are different ways to adjust the ringer and speaker volume on your handset. Please see your owners manual for model specific instructions.
On most single handset units:
Ringer volume: Press the volume up or down arrow rapidly to change the ringer volume.
Speaker volume: When talking on the handset press the volume up and down arrow to increase or decrease the volume.
On other models:
Ringer volume
In standby mode, press the volume up key or volume
down key on the handset or base to select one of three
ringer volume (Off, Low, or High).

Earpiece and Speaker Volume
You can select from among of six volume levels on the
handset, and ten levels on the base. Pressing the
volume up key or volume down key on the handset or
base during a call will change the earpiece or speaker
volume. This setting will remain in effect after the
telephone call has ended.
If you press the volume up key when the earpiece is at
the maximum volume level, an error tone sounds.
The error tone also sounds if you press the volume down key at the lowest volume.

Lost manual

Without the exact model it is difficult to find the manual.

Here the manual for 900 series/996:Uniden EZI996.

I also quote from manual:

Selecting the Ringer Tone and Volume

Base ringer on/off
The ringer switch allows you to set the base ringer on or
off. If you set the switch to off, you never hear the base
ringer tone.

Base ringer tone
Press the ringer tone button in standby mode to select one of 7 ringer tones.

Base ringer volume
Slide the ringer volume adjuster to set the base ringer volume.

Handset ringer tone and volume
Press the volume up key or volume down key (labeled as the volume/ /+ or volume/ /- key) in standby mode to select one of five ringer tones and volume combinations

Turnoff keypad tones??

dear smoothy, there is an option in your voice settings which says 'keypad volume'. You have to set it to minimum or zero. After that you will not hear your keypad beeps, and it will not effect your caller tone because it is altogether different option and has nothing mutual.

If that has helped you please press 'fixya'
