Seagull (major barcode software) has all of the drivers that zebra does not. also found 160s driver there too. Use they installing software. works great!

SOURCE: zebra 105se printer is printing out of the label on the wright side

It would be best if we had more information, or a picture.

For instance if you told me as the label is printing it does not print on the label, and it appears shifted to the right or front, then I would say, you need to re-calibrate the printer for that label.

If you were saying that the printer is printing on the right side of the label as you face the printer and watch the label exit the printer, then I would say, that the label size in the software is wrong, or the transfer ribbon is loaded incorrectly, too far to the right as you face the label exit path, OR the labels are loaded too far to the left as you face the label exit path.

Here is a link to a manual that may help as well.

SOURCE: Zebra 105Se power on calibration

If this unit has the LCD screen you need to Press Setup. Then Press Next till you get to Media Power Up and set it to FEED. Next go to Head Close and set it to FEED also and then save settings. It will only shoot one label out instead of Calibrate. Which is needed when they install new lables if its the same type of label all the time really don't need to Calibrate every time you stick new labels in it.

SOURCE: My Zebra 105SE is printing fine on the left

I think the 105 has an adjustment on the printhead. There are left and right hand adjusters just above the printhead. It sounds as if the right hand one does not have enough pressure on it, try increasing the RH one and see the effect on the print.

You need to install the printer driver for Zebra 105Se as well as label software (if you are using it). If you are using label software, BE SURE TO USE THE DRIVER PROVIDED BY THAT MFR, as they are not interchangeable. If you are not using label software, use the ZDesigner driver from the Zebra website.

Check to see what printer driver you are using. If you are using Seagull Scientific Bartender, you will need the printer driver from Seagull Scientific for it to print properly. You can download it from the Seagull website. Hope this helps!!

No response from 105Se

if the data light comes on and nothing prints chances are that the serial settings are set improperly. all of my printers are 25 pin serial, not parallel. i don't have one in front of me but i believe the settings are 19200, 8, 1, none. hope this helps.

Zebra 105 SE Printing Blank Labels

You need the correct driver for the 105Se. The 300 dpi SL driver is not compatible.

Unfortunately, Zebra does not make it's older drivers available online. You will need to locacte someone with the correct driver for whichever version of Windows you are using.
