I need a new ac/dc adaptor for model apx001a where from and how much

The AC adaptor goes into the AC socket, NOT the computer connection. The Computer connection is DC and comes from the DC side of the Adaptor. If you mean the DC socket has broken, then you need someone to replace it inside the computer.
If the AC adaptor has failed, you can buy a replacement ( 19V 3.16A 60W AC Adapter).

if u have a lot of ac adaptor then find thesame voltage output to ur gadget..if you don't have the exact voltage dc output for ur gadget better buy one....what is your machine need? ac power or dc power? if your machine is electronicaly operated so u need is dc power...but if your machine is like a motor so u need is ac power....tnx

ok go to wal-mart and for 7-12 bucks get a "universal" ac/dc power source....look for the one that has the usb output and buy that remeber to set it at 5 volts or you'll burn up your mp3 player....other opt is radioshack for 20 bucks and get a wall plug ac/dc - to - usb power source... same thing more money....
