Question about Onkyo HT-SR800 System
Hi. I bought a PS3 recently but cannot get anything on my HDMI channel.
I thought it could be a shoddy cable that came with a bundle set for the console so I bought aally high spec one but got results.
Someone told me there are a couple of types of HD and that the PS3 doesnt work on one of them!!?? Not sure if this is true.
My TV is BUSH and has one HDMI socket. I have never plugged anything else into the HDMI.
Can you help?
You have to go into the video settings and set it up for either HDMI, or analog (red and white) that came with it when you bought it. I had the same problem, maybe this will help. I went from a HDMI tv and then tried to connect it to a regular tv. Couldn't read the menu screen, so in the directions, you can "reset" the PS3 by holding down the on/off button and listen for two beeps, that should get you video back to go into the settings between different tvs. Hope that helps.

Connect the PS3 using another cable then go into the menu setup and make sure that the resolution is set to a level your tv can handle. Start with 480p and go up from there. I would imagine BUSH (never heard of it) isn't the highest quality tv so you have to make sure it can handle the signal. Start with that.
