After about an hour and a half on the phone with Vonage who then set up a conference call with Epson the Epson Stylus CX9400Fax Series still isn't sending or receiving. In each direction the result is "A communication error has occurred during the fax transaction Error 0400. We changed all the settings during the phone conversation. We reset back to the factory defaults and still the same response. Someone help please!! Vonage did fix the one part which was each time the machine rang it went to their voice mail. That doesn't happen anymore. It goes directly to the fax machine as it is supposed to do.

I adjusted the the modem down to 14.4 and was able to send one fax. I have not been able to send another fax to the same number once the one sent successfully. Are we only allowed to send one fax a day from this fax machine??
