My Mouse would not connect the red light under it just keeps flashin and stops. what can i do to solve this problem

there it a small button under the mouse say"connect"try to press that button.

Are you seeing any flashing red/yellow lights?

If so this is the red light error and you will find that is why the system will not turn on.
Why Does It Happen?

The GPU and the CPU are the 2 main chips in the system and they deal with all of the number crunching however they can get very hot and if they lose connection the system will either freeze up or turn off and give you the red flashing light.

How To Fix?

The key is stopping the heat build up and you can either send it in and they will fix it for you.
Bear in mind that for the PS3 red flashing light error you will be waiting for about 4 weeks and it will also cost you $150 for the repair bill!

I take it that it is a led mouse (red light under it)..

Get a brush and brush where the light is under the mouse, sometimes a tiny hair or bit of fluff can stick in there and cause that problem...

did you make sure you resynced the mouse and/or keyboard to the wireless receiver. usually you do this by holding down the button on the receiver until the light starts flashing then you press the button on the bottom of the mouse/keyboard until the flashin stops or changes. you have to repeat with each additional device.

There is a small 4" x4" black box hooked by steering column under dash. Push the red button for a couple secounds and this will reset so the flashers won't flash. Have a good day.

Make sure you have new batteries
and that there are no power cables close to the mouse or receiver, I have seen this cause problems many times.

Try pressing the connect button on the receiver then keep pressing the connect button on the mouse until the receiver light stops flashing. Sometimes the connect button is under the battery cover for the mouse

Push the connect button on the base - the light on the base should flash. Push the connect button on the keyboard. The light should stop flashing. (This is the generic Logitech way - individual models may vary slightly.)

The small notch in usb device socket under the mouse could be malfunctioning. If you press this notch you will find the mouse red light blink. If you further try pressing this notch at some point the mouse red light comes on constantly. Thats it, hold it there and try to connect first by pressing the usb device connect switch and then the mouse connect switch. The moment the connection is made the usb device stops blinking and the red light on the mouse starts blinking. Wow, it works now. Some one might just open the mouse and fix this microswtich for a permanent solution.

Now what you have to do is look for a reset button on your mouse and your wireless mouse signal receiver.
When the receiver and mouse both are on press the reset button on both of them one by one.
This should solve the problem.
