Question about Citrix GoToMeeting
I present 10 to 12 Webinars eack week with as many as 150 people connected to the Webinar. Recently the recients only see a black screen - tha audio cuts out at times - the recording cuts out and the at times we loose the connection. These things are becoming more frequent. Is there a resolution to these problems or would you recommend we go to another service?
I came across your story on how you were having audio problems with GoToMeeting and wondered if it was the same problems I am having. I have been trying to get this work for me for 4 months now. When I create a meeting, the minute I get to the internet, my voice sounds wavy and strange. GoToMeetings blamed it on my slow speed at first. They said I had a little over 5mb and needed at least 8mb. I purchased Road Runner Turbo and now have 15mb. Now GoToMeetings is saying that my ping is not high enough and it is still my Internet provider. Time Warner is blaming GoToMeetings and GoToMeetings is blaming Time Warner. This is very frustrating, because it isn't fixed and after all this money I put into a new Internet provider, new $65 headphones with speaker and classes coming up, I am unable to connect without that interference. I wondered if you had the same problem and if so, what you did about it if you were able to fix it. Thank you Peggy in Ohio

I think this problem can sort out by increasing your bandwidth & server's RAM.

I would try another service like WebEx. Just to see at least. I think you can do trial meetings there for a month or something.

Sounds like too many people are connecting to the server at one time. You will have to find another service that can handle the amount of people connecting at once.
