My advanced auto service details noted that I should have changed my crankcase oil filter a few thousand miles ago. Where is this located and how do I do it? Is this something I can do myself?? Thanks, Melissa

Places that service motorhomes want to make the bigger bucks. Do it yourself. Its just a drain plug and filter removal. They have a large oil capacity but if you have changed oil before on other cars go ahead and do it. If it sits high enough off the ground you will not need to raise it. Get a good oil change pan that holds 8 quarts. It may take that much.

it is under the car in the rear near to the fuel tank, round cannister.

it depends on what oil filter you have fitted on your car if you have the screw on type it woud be at the back of the engine on the offside.and the other filter sounds like its the pollen filter. hope this helps

Is this just a regular oil change?? lol
Example: you drive 14,000 miles a year You change your oil 4 times a year, that is 3,500 miles between changes & every 13 weeks, drive more than that you change oil 5 times a year
