Run a jumper to GROUND from that lead. it must remain shorted all the time you intend on watching the dvd player. With that said, I have one in my car that is hooked up that way and I put mine on a toggle switch so that, in the event I get pulled over I can hit the switch and it won't work unless I pull the brake. If you get caught wacthing a movie while moving, there is a fine associated with it! just letting you know. but its very kool to have it on long trips.

you need to run a wire from the parking brake lead comeoing out of the radio to ground...somewhere on the car like under a screw attached to bare metal.

I think the wire that should go to your hand brake is green, all you need to do to bypass this is hook it to an earth.

To bypass the parking brake you should connect the parking brake wire from the unit to ground. It is better to do it via a switch because is illegal to watch video while you're driving. :)

you need 2 toggle switches . yello/blue wire to switch - switch to ground.
yellow/black wire to switch- switch to red ing. wire. turn this switch on and pulse the other(yellow, blue) 3 times and leave on, then turn the other switch off and then you can ride and watch dvd. just did it this morn. QTRHRS
