What is the HP model number? Also, do the indicator lights between the screen and the keyboard light up? Does it sound like the machine is starting up?

Problem with Hp mini 210 laptop ,after login into windows 7 starter the screen is blank. How to fix this...?

Hello.

If your computer is dark after login, it usually means that your user profile is corrupted.

Boot your system to Safe Mode (press F8 repeatedly). Go to System Restore and choose a date when your system worked OK.

Hope this helps.

HP Pavalian laptop screen gone black and blank.

It seems like the lcd back light may have failed can you see a faint image on the screen when you look really close, try it with a torch. If you dont see even the faintest image the inverter has failed and needs to be replaced. If you look on youtube again and search for videos of replacing both the back light and the inverter it will give you some info on how to change them. Do a google search for hp spares and you will probably find what you are looking, i think the inverter is about £30 and the back light is bit cheaper. hope this helps.

Your operating system has corrupted at this point. I would suggest getting all your information transferred to another computer and do a clean install of the operating system of your choice. If you need further assistance, you can call us day or night at 800-595-3564.

Blank screen

Hi

Its inverter or mother board problem power which passes to backlight is cutting off because of over heart (over heart of some IC).

Thanks

Your battery is bad and it is trying to go into hibernation or sleep. Change your video settings on your computer. Check the video properties in your system as well as your BIOS. To get into the BIOS hit DEL or an F key when the computer starts.
I can't fix this for you, but if I helped you get it fixed, please rate it as a fixya not a helpful rating. These ratings let me be allowed to help you and others in the future.
