I need sound driver for P4I45GX motherboard

Im having motherboard of P4I45GX_P100.
i have formatted motherboard.and don't have motherboard.i have no sound after installing WinXP.

I need a sound device for my newly formated pc; Its Microsoft windows XP Professional & im from Philippines...


If you are planning to get a sound device hardware like a PCI card you can choose CMI8738 audio PCI Audio Device may suffice your needs.

If built in on your motherboard use your motherboard installer or manually go to sound device folder to install the driver.

If you don't have the motherboard installer, try its manufacturer's site then choose the exact model number and version, to get the right driver.

Unable to hear the sound after formatting


hi im josh in cebu phils. may i help you? friend the sound driver or IBM is built on the cd of the motherboard try to install it. then after installing im sure it still doesn't work because even the software is installed but it is not running. to make it run and you wl hear the sound. you need to update the driver manually. go to the my computer right clck device manager then clck the icon sound driver then update/install driver./if appears brwsing window.look for the sound folder in the drvce c then clck the run/setup wait until it completes.then reboot your pc.it will solve your problem just do it good luck hope i helped you.

I formated my pc P4 model number d330m/p2 now i,m having problems i media player in not functioning, there is no sound how do i download the sounder drivers

Friend after installing new o.s or after formating the media didn't work because no media driver is installed like sound, or video,etc. so yes you need to download the driver of that motherboard inorder to make the media player works.or if you have the motherboard driver.install it the media driver is also built on it. thats all my friend good luck hope i helped you.

Download it from the net.Every motherboard will have it's own type of audio driver..so type ur motherboard model in search engine and download audio driver of sound card.

Sound card


i could be a realtek sound chip, althouh XP normally has this built in,so go to the link below for the driver. http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/ If its not realtek you need to find out the chipset fitted.
