IN order for the machine to power up properly. make sure you have correctmemoriesspecified by the motherboard manufacturer.
insert them as instrcited and connected a VGA (analog-old stype) monitor to the 15 pin connector. and power it up.
if it comes up great, continue with what ever you are going to do. if not, post back in this thread.
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

It is cheaper and less hassle to just buy a replacement board. The reason is you have to consider why the chip failed in the first place- there is probably something else on the board that has failed as well.
Did you buy the visontek x1550 256 ddr 2 agp 8 x video card your self or is it attached already in the mother board you bought? Coz if you buy the original one, it should be mother board only. Here are my analysis to your problem: 1. The visontek video card which is agp is not possible to be compatible to *********** board. If you just key in your product online the compatible video card is really PCI video cards. it is really dam video card for now. But may be you can re sell it for those motherboard owners that has agp slots. 2. The speed of the video cards are the same but we are talking here of compatibilities.
I hope you're enlighted. just rate my solution so that I will know if you have solved the problem.
you might have damaged the mother board. im a game consol repair service owner and personal what i would do is go to ebay and buy a new power switch first of all this will cost you about 10.00 and that covers shipping. install it your self correctly put the console back together give it a nice 4-5 hour charge and see what happens. also u could try popping the battery out for a hour and put it back in. you might have damaged the mother board and if so you need to buy a new mother board which will cost you 90-110.
if the power botton is broken is could cause the system to power on and off and maybe even freeze. fix the power botton
Hey there alcouto, your motherboard supports Intel Celeron, Intel Pentium 4, and Intel Pentium D processors. The socket set is LGA775. The FSB should be no higher than 800Mhz. It appears you have purchased the wrong CPU for your board. I hope the rest of the info helps you on your next purchase. Good Luck!
