These things are notorious for sucking clothing under the the drum , it could cause it to be noisy spin slow and have drain problems . This is such a poor design . Try removing the drum and see if there is an article of clothing under it , mine sucked up a mans large shirt . Even if the drum seems to spin freely it still could be the problem .

Washing machine will NOT complete rinse/spin cycle due to drum instability at high speed. At low speeds it completes the rinse/spin cycle about 50 percent of the time.

As a Whirlpool Tech this one drives us crazy the machine stops due to thinking the load is unbalanced the main computer reads the amp draw on the motor in spin any kind of resistance or drag will increase amp draw and shut down machine did he pull the basket to ensure nothing between basket and tub, I have found the Teflon balls that hold the suspension rods do not rotate due to rust the tech could be right a bad hub bearing could cause this you would normally get a high pitch sound in spin a bad RPS rotor position sensor will cause this any rust between the rotor and stator ( motor assembly ) will cause this, loss of fluid in the balance ring on the basket will cause this a loose balance ring will cause this and a bad control will cause this not reading proper amp draw I guess in saying I have replaced the parts the tech recommended and it did not correct the problem just those parts alone with labor is not cheap the best tech in the world unless some thing just stands out is making an experienced guess

Loud Jet Engine Noise

Erik? Do you either live next to an airport or on an approach pattern? Just wondering! No really...IF Your machine is making THAT much noise! Jeeze! You have a balance drum bearing gone! Maybe more. There are usually four of them located on the corners of the drum. They are throw away and buy new anywhere from $20-40 each. If you have no idea what I am talking about and your machine is over 7 yrs old. Get a new One!

This front loading washer sounds like a jet taking off during the spin cycle. It has done it from the first time it ran, so we've just assumed this is the price to pay for clothes that are practically...

This washer should make very little noise in spin. Check if there is something, like a nail, stuck in one of the holes in the spin basket. What does happen with these machines is that the support that holds the spin basket (which is behing the rear wall) breaks. But that only happens after using it for a number of years. See if you can move the spin basket up or down, or sideways when at rest. If you can, you would need a new spin basket.

I have a cabrio wtw6600 that makes a clicking or grinding noise when agitating. It only makes it when the basket spins to the left and in silent when it spins to the right. The spin cycle is the normal...

This is usuallty caused by the hub assembly. You will need to remove the agitator and the hub assembly is located under it. This is very inexpensive $10 and easy to fix. Here is your part and a link to diagrams and illustrations AP3892170
