Question about Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ1 Digital Camera
I went to take a picture and the screen turned red. I turned the camera off, back on and was able to take one. I didn't take anymore pix, but wanted to view them later. Camera wouldn't turn on. Charged the battery, but it still won't work. Any ideas?
Your ccd imager is defective . You need to replace the ccd imager .Thats why screen turned red .
Connect your camera to computer and try viewing the photos .
Or use card reader to transfer photos to computer .
Replacing ccd will cost you around $150 .

I recommend you to call Canon on this.
Call this number and have them see if they can help. 1-800-652-2666
They may want to have a look at it and then will give you an estimate (they will pay postage both ways if they repair it, otherwise you have to pay the return postage, if you decide not to repair it at all) which you can turn down or opt to upgrade should the camera cost too much. They can give a great upgrade price on a completely repaired camera of your choice of what is in stock. These are called a refurbished cameras, which means it comes with everything as if it was new. Also a warranty, may depend on the model.
