Pioneer 114 DMA Problem.. Help Please

Hi
I just bought a 10x Pioneer DVD-114
When I try to put it in DMA mode, Windows (98 SE) don't recognize it...
I had to re-install windows in order to recongnize it, but it still don't
support DMA

My system:
Pioneer 114
Abit BE6
P3 550

Better shove that drive into Pioneers a it isn't region free like
the previous drives. Exchange it to a 6x drive. As for your DMA
problem it should work, could be a malfunctioning drive probably,
since the BX based mobos shouldn't make any troubles in this regard.

Well I have an Abit BX6r2, P3-600, Win98SE, and a Pioneer 114 and it
works great

Didin't have to do anything special
