Hi I just bought a 10x Pioneer DVD-114 When I try to put it in DMA mode, Windows (98 SE) don't recognize it... I had to re-install windows in order to recongnize it, but it still don't support DMA
Better shove that drive into Pioneers a it isn't region free like the previous drives. Exchange it to a 6x drive. As for your DMA problem it should work, could be a malfunctioning drive probably, since the BX based mobos shouldn't make any troubles in this regard.
