I received a DMP-110 as a "gift" from a friend and I just can't get it
to work! No matter what I do I keep getting device not detected by the
software that comes with it. Have anyone had a similar problem? I know
this player is far from good technology but I'd like to get it to
work. Any help is welcome! Thanks!

It might be the cable... I don't know... is your unit recognized
immediately when you plug into the USB?

I had a DMP-110 without voice recorder that I had to exchange at Best Buy
because batteries kept going dead. The exchange unit had voice recorder and
would not work with the original software drivers. After I downloaded proper
driver from D-Link site everything was OK.
