Question about Toshiba Satellite 1415-S173 Notebook
I purchased a new battery from an online source and when installed it doesn't take a charge. The battery/charge light blinks amber. When I disconnect the AC power the laptop will not function at all. If I install the old battery (that just won't hold a charge for more than a half hour anymore) the light will glow a steady amber - no blinking.
What is the blinking amber indicating?
Did you buy the battery brand new or used?
brand new, deffectibe motherboard, bad charger or bad dc socket.
used, change it.
