Question about Panasonic PT-F200NTU Projector

Open Question

Bleached out Image with Laptop Sources

I've a panasonic PT-F200NTEa that has a what looks like a bleached out image, but only when a Laptop is connected. You can see the image for the most part but if you use Excel you can really see the higher contrast. The grid lines are barely visible. I also have a PC in the room hooked up to the same projector and the image is fine. I've tried swapping the inputs but the same problem with both so can't be the inputs. I've also changed cables with the one used for the PC. Still same result. All settings on the projector are fine and are set to similar rooms.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

My Panasonic PT LC76U has horizontal pixelated lines. See image at this link

you need to check:
the Vga cables if the image shown is that from a computer
firstly check if the Panasonic logo comes ok in the beginning
if ok then try connecting a laptop directly thru a short patch cable to the computer port of the projector[i am assuming that the projector has been installed to the ceiling]
if this works ok , then the projector is fine!
you need to figure out the problem with the vga cabling and switchers if any of them are used!

I have a Panasonic PT-LM2U; when it is turned on, everything powers up fine but the image projected is upside down. I've looked through the menu but didn't see an option for flipping or rotating...

Every modern projector that I have seen has a setting that will allow you to flip the image for this.If you purchased it used it was probably configured as a ceiling mount in an upside down orientation or rear projection onto a translucent screen. (The projection method can be set from the "OPTION2" menu. in a Model LM1 so it should be similar.

If yours doesn't have this option, then you'll have to use mounts that require the projector to be upside down.

Problems with Projector Panasonic PT-L501XU after change the lamp

was this bought new or second hand?
There is a "Lamp Time" setting that can be accessd using your remote control, check this setting.
Look on page 40 and after that of your manual about ambient temperature bulb failure.

By powering off or hittign the reset button the bulb should stay on IF the projector is gettign a signal from a device to show an image. If the projector is not hooked up to a device, laptop, TV, etc. the bulb may turn off to save hours of operation.

**L@@K** How To Connect Laptop To Projector To Receiver!! HELP!!!

"the PT-AE900U supports a full range of input sources, including DVD and video players, PCs and game machines. An HDMI input provides compatibility with HD digital sources, while component video input terminals deliver full-quality, detailed images from high-end, progressive-scan DVD players. The PC IN terminal can be connected to a game machine or PC. Other terminals include composite and S-video, as well as a serial terminal for connecting a touch panel controller or similar device." You can go to Dell support to either read your manual, but your laptop model's manual is there for the reading. It lists all the outputs. if you have a problem figuring which to use, they will tell you. your manual can be found at
You may either have to connect the laptop directly to the Panasonic, or you may be able to connect it through the Harmon Kardon, but I doubt if there will be any advantage to doing that.
