Question about Lenovo 3000 N100 0768 - Pentium Dual Core T2060 1.6 GHz - 15.4in. TFT PC Desktop
My lenovo 3000 N100 model takes too much time to start. How can I overcome this problem?
Well, there are many things one can do. The most efficient way is to upgrade the CPU to a faster one and installing more RAM.
If that isn't a viable solution, you can also disable unused services that you may not require. More info on that here: http://www.pctipsbox.com/disable-unnecessary-services/
Also, be sure to do a scan for spyware with something like Spybot.
Lots of users report that by using Firefox instead of Internet Explorer increases their systems security.
Remove any unneeded Start Up items in your system tray. If you click on Start, then Run... and type in msconfig and then press OK, it will bring you to the System Configuration Utility. Click on the Startup tab and disable anything you don't need. It's easy enough to simply google a startup item listed to find out what the program does and then you can make a decision from there.
