If you mean that you want to change the image on your desktop, do this:

1. Right click on a place on your desktop with no icons
2. When the menu comes up, click on Properties at the bottom
3. Click on the Desktop tab at the top of the window
4. Click on the Browse button
5. Locate the picture you want for the background
6. Select to Center, Stretch or Tile the image (normally stretch)
7. Click apply and then OK to close the rest of the windows.

I hope that this is what you were looking for. Please let me know how it works out for you.

How to find the head sink?

I think you mean heat sink. It is usually a rectangle shaped electronic component with one wire in each side mounted on the mother board. It gets hot. Heat sink also refers to a heat dissipation device that is square, resembles a radiator or the fins on a motorcycle motor; that is mounted exactly on top of the processor chip.with a silver paste applied between them to enhance heat exchange away from the chip. It may also have a small fan mounted on top of both components to further enhance cooling the chip.

How to improve Windows XP performance in 6 short steps?

Though the computers of today are strong enough to handle and run Windows XP, with all the visual enhancements enabled, some old computers, or systems with low amount of physical memory and/or a "weak" graphic cards could (and would) run more smoothly with those "cosmetic visual enhancements" disabled.

The default setting is to let Windows choose what's best for your computer, but in 90% of the time, "helping" it a little will surely improve your computer performance!

To disable those visual enhancements, all you have to do is follow the following 6 short steps:
  1. Right-click on My Computer and choose Properties.
  2. Go to Advanced tab.
  3. Click Settings, under Performance section.
  4. Choose Adjust for best performance.
  5. If you would like to keep the "Windows XP Style" (as oppose to "Windows Classic" = Windows 98/Windows 2000 style), you will need to re-tick the 2 last options (Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop and Use visual styles on Windows and buttons). This will keep the nice graphical interface and will preserve Windows XP "fancy look".
  6. Click OK on Performance Options window, then click OK once again, to close System Properties.
  • You can always turn the visual enhancements on by repeating steps 1-4 and choosing Let Windows choose what's best for my computer.
  • To make ALL visual enhancements on, choose Adjust for best appearance instead.
Note: Changes take effect immediately, no reboot required.

Another side-issue regarding visual styles is the wallpaper, or Desktop Background.
Having no background (a solid color. Select None in the background's settings under Desktop tab in Display Properties) will demand less resources from the computer and increase response time when showing the Desktop. On the other hand, having a large-size (both in scale and in file size) photo will need more resources (especially memory) to rescale and view/reload it, every time the Desktop is shown.

Can I replace the driver of my HP enhanced multimedia PS/2 keyboard

Very unlikely. You may get a generic driver from MS, or even an updated on from HP. Work within Device Manager and don't let it manage you. Meaning it has a tendency to do what it thinks is best. There is a update, rollback and uninstall. Try uninstall and testing. gl

What is dtsi?

Bajaj Pulsar DTSi is a visual treat with its mean muscular aerodynamic shape. Apart from the smashing looks, Pulsar has lighter yet stronger alloy wheels, which when coupled with the longest wheelbase (1330mm) enhance the stability of the bike and at the same time make it more agile. The head lamps also give a cool look. The digital tachometer and sharp tail enhance the killer looks of Bajaj Pulsar DTSi.

What is the version of the usb port on a compaq presario 1200

Hi again, after extensively searching I believe your Laptop has a USB version 2.0.

Most PC's manufactured before 2001 were USB 1.0 and USB 1.1.

The Spec Guides for your PC indicate 2002 was the year of manufacture.

USB 2.0 is a faster USB connection than version 1.0 or 1.1. You might have trouble connecting devices that are USB 2.0 (which all new devices are now - since 2001).

To double check, use your Device Manager on the PC to look up the USB device and see what is written.

If you are using XP then do the following:

  1. Click Start
  2. Click Settings
  3. Click Control Panel
  4. In the Control Panel double-click the Systems icon.
  5. In the System Properties window click the Hardware tab.
  6. In the Hardware tab click the Device Manager button and you will see a list of devices.
  7. Click the + button next to the word the Universal Serial Bus controllers.
If it is USB 2.0 then it should say something like USB Enhanced or USB High Speed, this means it is USB 2.0 compatible.

I hope this helps. Please rate. Regards,

I don't think that you can do that naitively with VB6 but there was a application that I used to use a while back that would make any window transparent.

The program was called "Glass2k" and here's a download link (copy/paste)

Digital Photo enhancers

What do you mean by "Digital Enhancer"? Do you mean like, taking a picture of a huge crowd with the faces little and tiny, then using a software program to make a really high-quality zoom-in of everybody's face? If you do, sorry to be the one to break it to you, but this is something you will only see in the movies.
