If this occurs after you were able to get hot water to flow from the hot side then I suspect that it is a piece of debriis that has found its way to block the port opening. Remove the acess panel to the valve shut the water supply off to the tub valve using the handles only first on the valve. With the access panel removed tak e a bucket or other similar container and remove the hot water tubing from the spout. Once that is accomplished stick the tube into the container and turn the hot lever on. This should blow out any debris that may exist. Reassemble the valvle. If this did not work remove both the cold and hot feed tubes from the spout and use an air compressor to blow the spout out. If neither of these worked you will probably need to call a serviceman to resolve as other options require cutting the hot supply to the handle and may require special tools that you may not have handy. Thanks for using Fix Ya.

Set screw is stuck. Any suggestions on how to remove it to replace the roman tub faucet?

to replace the roman tub faucet you have to expose the faucet under the deck of the tub. Most of the time builders do not install a door to do repairs. So expose the underside of the deck of the tub, turn off the main water outside then cut the water pipe for the hot and cold water with a tube cutter. At this point take a sawall and place the blade so the side of the blade touches the bottom side of the deck.
and cut all the way though the body of the stem.

Do all three and your done with the hard part. Install your new faucet and enjoy.

Hope I was help to you Rich

Brand new delta roman tub faucet. Cold works great and hot side is anemic. All new pex tubing feeds it. When I got it out of box both faucets worked counter clock wise to open hot was anemic then. I pulled...

Cna you remove water line feeding hot side to make sure it has correct flow. It could have something blocking inside of water line. And check hot inlet side on faucet to make sure it is open and not blocked.

Remove line you can run water in a bucket to ensure that hot side water line has no blockage in it and have someone help you with turning water off and on for you.

I get hot water but no cold water from my moen one hand tub fixture.

pretty sure that model has shut-off's/stop's.they are on either side of the center of faucet, they take a slotted screw-driver.check that, and the balancing spool could be clogged,if the stop's are open check the cartridge real good,as well as the faucet body for any debris. if you end up pulling the cartridge flush out the valve body to prove flow from both hot,and cold.

I have no water coming from the HOT knob. COLD works fine. How do I access the water line under the tub, so I can turn on the HOT water supply to that knob. It's on a roman tub, but there is no access to...

Cut a hole in the sheetrock on the adjoining wall closest to the faucet and turn on the hot water supply. Then u will have to screw the piece of sheetrock back in and tape and spackle. then paint of course. My husband who is a plumber says there should ALWAYS be an access panel for a roman tub!!! if they didn't put one then u have to make one. u can buy one at a plumbing supply store to put in once u cut the whole. then u would have one for any future problems.

Moen T910 Kingsley two handle, whirlpool tub faucet. The hot water handle only puts out lukewarm water. The water heater is turned up and all the other faucets in the house put out scalding hot water.

if you remove the hot water handle on the faucet you can adjust the stop. if it is a newer faucet it has a built in scold guard. the directions should tell you which direction to move the stop to get hotter water
