Assuming there is none now, just open the interface 192.168.1.1, or 1.0, type admin in the second line that is the default password. If it already has one just reset it from the reset button on the router and start fresh with admin 2nd line. Leave top line alone, unless you want another thing to remember. The real encryption is the Key and mode you pick wpa, is fine
