How do you remove the handle on pflueger president reel for cleaning?

How do i remove the fishing handle on a Penn 50sw reel to replace it with a bigger handle?


from the pic I found it looks like there is maybe a small screw in the handle remove that then see if the handle unscrews from the shaft .

When ever I reel in my line the reel doesn't reel it in very smooth and clicks alot


remove the spool and check the teeth and gear arent missing a tooth-if not give it a good clean and oil
