The installation instructions or specifications that show how the links of the innards of the drain mechanism is what I need. The drain mechanism is a complex series of links and a spring mostly made of brass which have pivot points, adjustments and a cam to open and close the drain. The one link that hooks to the spring does not secure very well and disconnects. After removing and reconnecting the link, re-insert the mechanism is a difficult task, yet with all of the available adjustments, it is still a hit and miss shot for the mechanism to work properly. A diagram is absolutely necessary to assemble the mechanism for it to work.

You will need plumbers putty and a plumber's drain tool. Put a ring of putty around the piece that will be on the inside of the tub to seal it. Then insert it through the hole making sure the rubber gasket is on the bottom side of the tub and tighten it down.

I just bought a PRO45series Fluidmaster to replace a fill valve. in a 1958 American Standard, builder installed, tank type flush toilet. There were no installation instructions in the package to...

The installation instructions are usually printed inside the package. Open the box fully (saves paper) Here is a link to the instructions: https://aruntx.com/conference/kit.pdf
When you say to calibrate the unit, I'm assuming you're referring to adjusting the water level? You can do this by either adjusting the height or the float water level adjustment or both. These are quality trouble free units, I've never had any problems with fluidmaster products. There is a large warning on using Chlorine cleaners (inside the tank) in the instructions. Chlorine cleaners in the bowl are no problem. I've used the tablet type in the tank though without any problem. There would be a problem if the toilet was not used regularly and the tablet continued to dissolve, causing the chlorine level to rise dramatically.

Not enough hot water in the shower even if I turn the handle all

Your valve has an anti-scald feature which automatically adjusts the water temp if cold water is diverted to another location, e.g., a flushed toilet, washing machine filling, etc. Most valves have an adjustment screw to allow you to set the temp. Since each manufacturer is different you'll need the manual or contact the manufacturers support. BTW, these anti-scald valves are being added to building codes in many parts of the U.S.

I HAVE THE AMERICAN STANDARD WALK IN TUB WITH THE QUICK DRAIN AND WHEN I FILL IT UP TO USE THE JETS, THE DRAIN WILL NOT RELEASE TO LET THE WATER OUT. WHAT MIGHT BE THE PROBLEM?

It could be the pressure on the drain isn't allowing the rubber around the drain pop up to come unlodged from the floor of the tub. I have ran into this problem a few times. the best way we found to take care of it was to install a push pull type drain assembly or try and adjust the drain pop up so it pops up higher allowing the rubber around it to break the seal and start to drain. take some pictures and post them i might be able to help more

Bath tubs installation

In an ideal world you would like the drain end lowest and level from side to side. It won't hurt anything if it is not level, however the water may not all drain out if it is not level.

I need the installations for a American Standard

I had a similar problem where the Drain-Kit that I ordered was missing a part. After contacting American Standard and requesting a schematic. I realized that the missing part was the rocker assembly with stopper. I have a PDF of the schematic that I can send you if you still need it. Let me know. The alternative is to contact American Standard directly between 8am and 6pm Eastern and request the information. The phone number is (800) 442-1902 Option 3 then 1 then 2. Tell the person that you need the installation instructions for a 1583.470.xxx universal bath drain.
