Question about Samsung Digimax A40 Digital Camera
The reason why is because that particular camera does not support memory cards that big. Samsung only guarantees compatability up to 512MB, but the max I have ever heard working is 1GB. If you do buy one, make sure it is a sandisk card as these have been tested and guaranteed to work in that camera. Lexar may also work, but for sure 4GB is to big and is unsupported. Hope it helps.
