how old is your kirby, it has a 3 year anything and everything warranty...after that, it has a lifetime anything goes, limited warranty, which means you mail it back to the factory or bring it to a kirby dealer and for 175. you get a brand new kirby, and it will be the latest model out. Kirby dealer's are hard to find since they only do in home sales, but your paper work, should have the 1 800 number, and you can ask them about delivery, mail in, and other options. hope this helps.
