Question about Toshiba Qosmio G35-AV650 Notebook
When I power on the laptop the video display is garbage and the BIOS texts are barely readable. Seems like the CPU and memory is working as it accepts input from the K/B. Booting into Windows results in a black screen.Changed memory DIMMs with same result. Removed hard drive and tried booting from USB... same problem. Connected external display and the same video garbage shows up on external display.
Sounds like your notebook video card is bad. It drives both the LCD panel and external displays. You'll need to replace it.
