Question about LG RU-44SZ63D Television
I have an LG ru44sz63d DLP projection tv. My bulb blew out a few weeks ago. I removed the lamp cage and took inside the guts of the tv. I noticed there was small 'window', maybe 1" tall by 2-3" wide. On this window there is now a hairline crack running diagonally across it. After I changed out the bulb the tv works great but the picture is grainy and not as clear as it was before. Could this be due to the crack? If i remove this peice of glass will the tv still work fine? Anyone know how I can repair this?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Unless you are watching an actual hd station this is how it is going to stay for you. Sorry your real quality comes in when you are actually being fed a true 1080 I signal not some upgraded 480.

SOURCE: Black Dots throughout screen
I gues that the dots you see are dead pixels , do they apear all the time at every backgorund if the answer is yes they must be dead pixels , the best way is to count them and contact LG or your supplier when more than 5 are defective you should normaly get a new one

Above are links for your service manual, and a training manual. This is a classic switchmode power supply, shutting down to avoid a fire, explosion, or both. This set had developed a problem, that is so severe that the set must be shut down, This set should be removed from the Power, and in my professional recommendation, you should get a "Quote" for repair, from, an Akai, Approved Service Center, this point is very important for a good result, Always contact, their local, "Head Office" Now, when you get the information you want, then you can decide as to repair of replacement. The reason we want an approved agent, is that way, all the engineers are trained on their own brand sets, they have seen almost all faults, and will get the job done quicker, and for less cost, and usually have parts on hand, also sometimes, there has been a service bulletin in issued and the repair may be subsided or even free.
