LG r700 green keys wont turn off when using shift key in outlook

I hit a series of keys when I was writing an email and now the green key symbols are the only items that show when i use the shift key. ie. shift/2 gives a quote mark (") rather than @. Other apps not affected, only Outlook

thanks for the feedback. I was getting frustrated and just started hitting ctl alt fn space key at random and I guess I hit the right series because it came back. I would like to know what the series is so that I can enable/disable on command rather than chance. The LG user guide for my r-700 doesnt provide any info on how to access the green keys which is a little lame.

Thats the thing. I use my hot keys constantly. I have different symbols.functions etc programmed for different hot key sequences. My issue is I just dont know what sequence (i.e. CTL/ALT green key) unlocks these keys. Its not a big issue. it would just be nice to know. Like I said, I turned them on accidently and then off again but dont know how I did it. If I ever figure it out, I'll drop an answer in here just in case anyone ever has an issue with it.

I was having the same problem - it was just driving me bananas. I figured it was a keyboard language, but when I checked my default it was still English (Canada) - US. I Tried the keys to switch between languages, I turned on and off the hot keys for input languages - all to no avail. FINALLY - I added a floating language bar to my desktop, and what do you think it was set at? That's right - bloody "Canadian French." I simply switched it back to "US" and problem solved. Now I just have to remember that for next time. . . . .

Im not sure what happened but a sticky key caption appeared on my screen and i just deleted but since then when i hit shift key to get symbols and the AT sign it wont work and its frustrating when trying...

You've turned on Windows' "sticky keys", one of the accessibility options. Pressing the Shift key 5 times in a row activates it. Sticky keys lets you type key combinations (Shift-x, Ctrl-Shift-x, Alt-x, etc.) one key at a time. It's for people who have trouble holding several keys down at once. Press the Shift key again 5 times to bring the sticky keys dialog box back and turn off the function. You can also disable it permanently in the Control Panel's accessibility settings program.
