Programing a royal alpha 1000ml cash registure

The register has to be serviced. There may have been an internal failure.

You need to use the clerk programming codes from the manual. i don't have any codes for this model as it is rare.

Royals are quite rare as they are only sold in certain areas. I don't have any information for this model. Check the programming for the percent button. If you have lost your manual, there is one on the net that I send my customers to:

Royal don't tend to give out this info. and this model is rare to find. You will need the code for Journal clearing. I've found that it varies too much between registers to guess it by other ones. For the royal machines, I usually just send customers to buy the manual from the supplier. There is also a PDF manual on the net if you need one quickly:

There is NO ink in your cash register.

Your cash register has a thermal printer that prints receipts for the
customer or a journal tape. Use 2¼ inch (57.5 mm) wide standard thermal register paper. Do not use bond paper because the register does not use a ribbon or ink for printing.
