Question about HP Pavilion dv4000 Notebook
HP Pavilion dv4000- I went in and deleted some programs I thought I didn't need (and deleted them from my recycle bin), now I can't connect to the wireless internet. It is enabled, and I've reinstalled Linksys, and updated my driver, but still no wireless networks can be found. Any ideas?
Is your chipset wireless network program taking over?
Often an internal system program will take priority when connecting to wireless networks.
Think of it like siblings who squabble over attention.
If you can find any other programs which are acting in this manner, I'd suggest telling them "do not use this when connecting" and then see if you can then use your main program.
Also - is your network secured and / or hidden? Did you reset your router? Sometimes this helps, too. =D
