Question about Toshiba Satellite A10-S177 Notebook
After formatting my laptop and installing Xp Sp2 I lost the sound device I installed Realtek AC97 sound driver and ADI WDM but it I still the same problem, checked it on a device manager, it is ok, but control panel says no sound device. So how can i solve this problem?
You are NOT alone! There are a lot of folks trying to correct this issue. I have been somewhat successful, but not always. The last 'fix' is a VIA download that is supposed to work with all AC97 cards. I had the same issue with the computer I am writting this from, and the sound is working once again.
