-   I have the same problem. The disc spins and the lens cleaning disc does not work either. I could open it up if I could put it back together. Is it a matter of dust on the lens?
If you know for a fact that the discs you are putting in, then there is obviously something wrong with the DVD player. When you put a DVD in your player, can you hear it spinning the disc at all? If your DVD is not even spinning the disk, I'm afraid your DVD player might be toast. If it does spin your discs, try a lens cleaning disc (available at pretty much any home electronics store or large chain store that sells home electronics). If that does not help, let us know and also let us know if you would be comfortable opening your DVD player.

I have a'' GO'',dvd/vcr,combination player. I use a basic hookup.(antennae cable right into the vcr/dvd player). When I use the vcr part to watch tv or record I lose the picture and get a blue screen. When I wiggle the antenna cable the picture returns, but, I lose the picture again when some internal connection is lost at the ''in'' connection for the antenna at the back of the player/recorder. I have changed cables , but, this didn't help. I have an old TV. This is the only way I can connect to my TV without buying some other device to make a different connection. I am willing to buy another device to make a different connection. Willing to pay about $25 for an external device to make a different connection. Will be moving to another state in 1 year and don't want to buy another TV at this time.
