You are on the right track with the service light on. I have removed the handle and plugged the cord in without depressing the switch and after plugging in then depress the switch and while holding the trigger depressed unplug the cord and reinstall the handle. If this doesn't work you might have to take to a Hilti service center. Good luck and let me know.

The safety switch comes on when there is an internal fault, it means that there is a blown component inside.

You cannot reset the safety switch, if the safety switch comes on you need to fix the bad component.

You will need to have the unit taken apart and fixed to reset the safety condition, that is only way to fix it.

Hello, there is a counter behind the trigger it is made to where when you send it back to hilti, all they do is reset it . You can reset it by taking the handle apart and starting the counter over. They do this because they want you to send it in every time the counter goes off. They say it will usually be under normal use 2 years. Please rate this answer thank you.

The only thing that I can think of is maybe the safety switch went out as well. I have a link that will link you to a PDF file for your tool. After you click on the link just press CTRL+F and type in your model number minus the AVR. This will bring you to about the middle of the page and the link is the PDF icon. The last page on the PDF has a lot of information concerning your item.

If the switch can not be replaced what I would do would be remove it all together. The diagram that is in the site that I posted on my orignal post. The only down fall to this is I am not sure what the safety precautions would entail.

Why did my hilti te 805 just stoped working when drilling can anyone help

A real Hilti brand means it has got the operating hours on it.

Only service a complete kit of components , this machines are have most liquid oil lubrication (most of the times a very expensive) Turmopol oil and special poor tolerance bearings HILTI and DUSS are high quality machines , Duss machines i prefer some higher then Hilti because of the long last service for more then 40 years old machines they have all te parts for them , but not cheap Unfortunately.

If a hammer stopped working like Dewalt all the parts are simple to get. most of the times a broken powercable or a brush that have become in protected state autostop , Dewalt hammer in the States is not the QS quality of Europe i know . but quality like the old ELU machines instead of black and Decker ,
Nice machines and are not fast leak , but it could also after a long period.

Hilti te 56 combi hammer not working

The gears inside that engage the chisel points to move back and forth are either not alligned properly or are stripped. You'll have to open up the hammer to see what, exactly, is the problem.

I have hilti te 56 has stopped working n red lite show indication spaner please give right solution

Hilti has sensors in their tools to detect when things are wrong with them that will shut the tool down under certain conditions. The most common is when the brushes wear down to a point where the tool is shut down so you don't do damage to the expensive armature. Hilti is very stingy with the information on how to reset the system even if you install new brushes, they want you to send the tool to them for repairs or reconditioning. They do a great job, very quickly and you'll essentially have a new tool but it can be expensive so if you want to go this route call to see what the service will cost or if they'll tell you what's wrong, sell you the parts needed and tell you how to reset the sensors.

You'll have to call Hilti for that. They're very protective of their material. But I think they'll still fax you a schematic.

WHEN YOU PUSH THE BUTTON NOTHING HAPPENS, THE RED LIGHT IS ON

that is a service light and means there is some type of failure. If this tool is under warranty I would call 1-800-879-8000 and see about getting repaired. If not go to Hilti.com and download a breakdown for this tool. You might want to check the brushes first for wear because they have a sensor that triggered the light.
