Try removing the battery and replacing it. If that doesn't fix it hold down the power button and it should re boot. If still a problem we can go further. Thanks

Computer won't turn on

try removing the battery and then plugging the laptop in. when you plug it in make sure that the light comes on that shows you the laptop is charging. If it doesn't wiggle the power chord inside the laptop till it does light up. Then press and hold the power button. With these Toshiba Ive seen that you may have to press pretty firmly. Hope this helps :)

My Toshiba Satellite P200-1ee It just quit charging and the light doesn't show being plugged in, I've replaced the battery and charger but still nothing

Sounds like your power connector may need to be replaced. This is a common issue with the laptops that I repair.

You already isolated both the battery and the charger, so the item in between the two that may fail, is the power connector.

Good luck

Toshiba Satellite a135 will not power on. The LEDs at the bottom are showing that the computer is both charging and has power going to it, when I press the power button it will not power on.

Unplug battery and Power cable from laptop
Press and hold the power button for 20 sec(no battery and no adapter)
connect the power cable back to laptop.
Try turing on the computer.

Toshiba P200-1ee Screen fault

Hello, I have a Toshiba Satellite P200-rt2 that has the same issue. They told me that there's a part that connects to the monitor that needs to be replaced. It costs as much as the computer does. So, I have bought a new one. I want to know if there are other people with this issue. Maybe we can go to Toshiba with this issue.

Toshiba Satellite P200 doesn't boot

Try pressing FN/F5 keys simultaneously, or the key that toggles internal/external Display. Look for the double screen Icons on the keys.

Tap the Pause Key.

Restart and press and hold F8 key when Toshiba logo appears. When the boot Menu appears, select Last Known Good Configuration.

If all else fails ther should be a reset button on the side of the LT. Consult owners Manual for location
