1) you CAN rESTORE The machine going to panel control and see restore to some date that was working good.Otherwise is download the BIOS from toshiba accordsing the version that you have. press key f1 , and Reinstall the new version BIOS.God bless you
try removing the battery and then plugging the laptop in. when you plug it in make sure that the light comes on that shows you the laptop is charging. If it doesn't wiggle the power chord inside the laptop till it does light up. Then press and hold the power button. With these Toshiba Ive seen that you may have to press pretty firmly. Hello, I have a Toshiba Satellite P200-rt2 that has the same issue. They told me that there's a part that connects to the monitor that needs to be replaced. It costs as much as the computer does. So, I have bought a new one. I want to know if there are other people with this issue. Maybe we can go to Toshiba with this issue.
Here is the fix my toshiba laptop also wouldent turn on so i call them and here is what you do 1. unplug the laptop 2.take out the battery 3.hold down the power button for 20 seconds (doing this drains any excess power fron the unit) 4.put battery back in 5.plug in laptop 6.try to turn it on hope this helps John
