Re: not receiving pictures from corespondant
Web Camera’s have to be
setup on the program they are to be used with.Just installing the camera on your computer does not set it up to
broadcast on messengers or Skype.
Each program has Options that have to be setup in order for
the Audio and Video to function properly.

Launch the Logitech toolbar from your desktop or from All Programs The settings menu is the 2 gear wheel logo on the toolbar. Start your cam first in the Quick Capture menu (2 film frames) Make sure your USB is 2.0 (enhanced) You may have to reinstall the latest software from here
well, i finally found the website for logitech and found an article on there from a tech guy, (i guess that is what he does) the article was titled, "How to make your logitech camera work in an im." when i read that i followed the instructions and know it is not my cam, but the messenger i was using. i don't know what to do about that because it is yahoo and there support is NILL!!!!!!, i repeat NILL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it takes some finding (the article) but it says to try your cam for 5 minutes making a video from quick capture. if it works ok then it is the website and not the cam. may i say yahoo stinks! also he said that it is 99% of the time the website is the problem. not a quote. hope this helps someone out there that is having the same trouble.
