Question about Durabrand 5.1 Surround Sound Computer Speakers
Has the remote been dropped on any hard or wet surface?ie. on the floor or a bucket with water.
If it felt on the floor, maybe some wire has unplugged / unwelded.
if felt in a wet surface it needs to be open and dry without the batteries on.
Sometimes the old batteries expel a very corrosive fluid. Verify that the old batteries had no rusted the contact leads of the remote.
if they did, clean the leads, do not damp them.
