Question about Tomtom GO 300 GPS Receiver
Hi i have tried to charge my unit with the wrong charger, it was a 9 volt charger is it beyond repair?
If the battery fried, then you will need to replace the battery, this most likely happened if the charger was a higher amperage than the unit can handle. But in reality, anything could have broken, including capacitors on the chipset itself, which would require replacing the entire chipset inside the system. I would suggest bringing it to an electronics repair shop for a second opinion, but you may need to buy another unit.
