the mitsubishi green blinking light of death usually means replacement of capacitors on the dm board , pwr board and or fmt board

this model will have bad electrolytic caps on the dm module that will need to be replaced , hopefully not more than those components

do you need a service manual for your set ?

Oh yea don't try to look for a lamp in your tv set that has three crt's!

if you can solder and unsolder , then replace the four(4) 1000uf capacitors on the dm board , and make sure the new caps are 25v or 35v , also check fuses for the two STK 394-250 convergence IC's (ic8c01 , ic8c02 )( on the big heat sink ) , if they are blown then replace the convergence IC's also
here is the service manual that will help in dissasembly and locations of dm board and convergence IC's

That flashing light either means you ha a power outage and electricity was cut off to the tv. if thats the case the light should stop blinking after a few minutes.

if not the the blinking light is tell you that the projector bulb went out and you need to replace it. order from mitsubishi. really easy for you to replace.

hope this helps.
best of luck.
please remember to rate me.

The green lite is blinking and the tv will not

The steady blinking led is indicating that the DM isnt completeing the boot sequence, which usually is caused by failed capacitors. You can get the V26 DM repair kit from www.tvrepairworld.com which should repair that issue. The kit contains the replacement capacitors and the CD with detailed instructions.

The green light on front of tv keeps flashing and tv wont turn on

Howdy,

The green light blinking indicates your TV has a problem. The problem is that each Brand of TV has different codes and with out the Brand and Model number, I can not help you at this time.

Please, count blinking sequence. Model number will be on back of TV.

Recap : Provide Model Number, Brand and Count Blinks.

First though; unplug TV from power source for 3-5 minutes then plug TV & box back into a/c outlet.

Good Luck, BIG IRISH.

Blinking green timer light on front nearpower button keeps blinking, tv will not turn on, unplugged for 24 hours and tried again, also hit system reset and still nothing.

Thats a common problem when the caps on the DM need replacement. They will function fine untill power is interupted then the set will not complete the boot sequence when power is reapplied and the led will just continue to blink. Hers a link to the kit that will usually repair that issue the kit comes with instructions.
