Question about Dell Vostro 1000 Notebook
I have a Dell Vostro 1000 and when i pop a dvd into the drive it does not read the disk or play. The green light blinks likes its trying to read but it does not start playing with the default player. When i bring up windows media player or windows media center it does not even know there is a disk. Even when i go to computer and click on DVD RW Drive (E:) it still does not read anything. Im a little fustrated because i dont know much about computers and i cant get my dvd player to work.
When you put the DVD in the player, are you snapping it onto the spindle? You have to do that with notebook PCs, but not with desktops.
