Question about Phones

I unplugged my binatone digital cordless phone from the main jack to move it to another location, when it plugged it into the other jack it did not work. I moved it back to the main jack, but when I plugged it in there it would not work any more. I don,t even get a dial tone now. How can I get my phone to work again?

Try another phone in that port again, if it works, this means , either the adapter becomes bad or you have to program the phone again, but if the other phone doesnot work! check the port or the cable.

Best Regards

Hi!

Are you using the specified power adapter with it?
I think the power adapter with the unit has gone bad.

Check that is not the socket or the cable faulty.

    Do the following:

    1. To start ensure that the battery in the handset are fully charged.

    2. Ensure that the charger is well plugged and the phone has power.

    3. Try synching again the base with the handset, using the synch button.

    4. Test your socket with a different phone, to find out if there is line.

    5. Try a different phone cable.

The above should fix the problem, if it does not, then the phone is faulty.

You need to re-register the phone with base unit as it has lost communication.

I assume that you shifted base unit of cordless phone to another location and now you do not have dial tone etc.
During shifting the base unit it would be disconnected from AC outlet so base unit and handset lost secure coded connection. Now if you shift it back or again same place it will not affect until there is again secure coded communication is established between base unit and handset.
You need to perform Register handset with base unit as per user manual instructions.

Are thee any Binatone handsets compatable as extra handset to add to Binatone symphony 3325 unable to get new handsets but main answering machine and handset are still working

with cordless phones the problem is that the hand sets have to be recognized by the base station ( paired) and unless you have the exact hand piece make and model this pairing and recognition will not happen
if you can get 2nd hand units for the 3325 base then the base will accept them ( any number of additions ) but if the hand piece is different it will not work
you you need extra hand pieces then it may be best to consider a new system where you can buy extra phones and chargers

Problem with att cordless phone wont ring

First, check the wirings (power cord and phone cord). Are they properly plugged in to their outlets (power outlet and phone jack, respectively)? Have you tried plugging in another phone? Does it ring? If yes, it could be your phone system, if not, let's try this troubleshooting steps. This is one of the basic troubleshooting steps for cordless phones. Unplug the battery from the phone/s, unplug the power plug from the main base unit. Wait for 10-15 seconds and plug everything back in. First the batteries then the power plug.

Hi. I have no dial tone on my corded and cordless phones. When someone calls they get a busy signal. What can I do?

There might be another phone off the hook. Check all phones and jacks by removing phone plug from wall jack one at a time and check for dial tone after each one if there is no dial tone plug back in and move to next phone I would try to remove cordless phone first (the cordless phone hub) By the way you only have to remove phone jack data wire not 110 vac power . Hope that helps

I unplugged vtech tel to move to another location-now i have CL flashing and none of the phones have dial tone-how do i fix-thank you very much for your help

The main unit with the answering machine needs to be plugged into and outlet and also plugged into a working phone jack. The other units just plug into an outlet and speak to the main unit wirelessly. Make sure the main unit is plugged into a phone jack.
