Lenovo monitor How do you unlock menu bar to adjust brightness?

type in model # on lenovo.com download the manual for the monitor usually just push button on monitor Menu move to brightness adjust to higher brightness

See pages 16 and 17. You will want to get to the picture menu in order to adjust the brightness.

1) Press the MENU-button ( ) to activate the OSD window.

2) Press or to navigate through the functions. Once the desired function is highlighted, press the MENU-button to
activate sub-menu . Once the desired function is highlighted, press MENU-button to activate it.

3) Press or to change the settings of the selected function. Press or to select another function in sub-menu .
Press AUTO( ) to exit . If you want to adjust any other function, repeat steps 2-3.

4) OSD Lock Function: To lock the OSD, press and hold the MENU button while the monitor is off and then press power
button to turn the monitor on. To un-lock the OSD - press and hold the MENU button while the monitor is off and then
press power button to turn the monitor on.

5) Eco Mode hot key ( ) : Press the Eco key continuously to select the Eco mode of brightness when there is no OSD (
Eco mode hot key may not be available in all models).

6) Volume adjustment hot key : When there is no OSD , press Volume ( ) to active volume adjustment bar, press or
to adjust volume ( Only for the models with speakers).

Press the menu button on monitor select the brightness press the menuside button increases or decreases.after select exit oress the exit button on monitor.

Please try to turn the monitor off. hold down the Menu button while the monitor is turned off, then press the Power button again to turn the monitor back on. This should unlock your OSD menu. best regards

This is the function that locks the OSD in order to keep the current states of
settings or prevent others from adjusting the current settings.

1. Lock : Hold down the menu button for more than five seconds to activate
the OSD adjustment lock function.

2. Unlock : Hold down the menu button for more than five seconds to
deactivate the OSD adjustment lock function.

Though the OSD adjustment lock function is activated, you can still
adjust the brightness and contrast, and adjust MagicBright ( )
using the Direct button.

HelIo! right after computer inclusions on the monitor screen have a tablet with the message which disturbs to work. The message: brightness of the monitor of 100 %! A problem: how to clean from the screen this tablet so she prevents to read the information. I have not found adjustment in the menu of the monitor brightness. And what should be brightness: 100 % or another? have not found adjustment in the menu of the monitor brightness. Press menu button for 5 seconds until the text "OSD Unlocked" appears on the screen.
